Paint Restoration & Maintenance Services Over the years, usually even months, vehicles accumulate a generous amount of defects in the paint. New or old, vehicles will see swirl marks from improper washing, marring from improper detailing, and embedded dust, tar, etc. from simple daily driving, among many other irregularities that keep vehicles from looking their best. Through proper correction and maintenance, vehicles can regain that like-new look and once again have clear and shiny paint. Exterior services range from paint maintenance, such as the Hand Wash or Wash & Wax, to complete paint correction and protection, through the Light Polish Detail or Paint Correction services.

The LUSTR Treatment - Usually performed on exotic cars, show cars or "garage queens". Time required: 2-3 days

The LUSTR Treatment is a thorough restoration and refreshment of a vehicle inside and out. The vehicle is kept over a period of two to three days, during which the paint is polished with four to six steps, all painted surfaces on the vehicle, including door jambs and interior, receive one to three coats of a long lasting sealant and quality carnauba wax, and the interior gets a complete detail and reconditioning.

Exterior:

Paint is pre-rinsed and delicately hand washed with a pH balanced soap Paint is dried with proper microfiber towels Detailing clay is used to remove any imbedded contamination Paint cleaner is used to cleanse the paint of any prior waxes or sealants Paint polishing process of four to six steps is employed to remove most swirl marks, light scratches and as many severe defects as safely possible to restore paint clarity, gloss and shine that in most cases rivals a brand new paint job All exterior glass is cleaned and protected with a sealant where applicable Headlights and tail lights are thoroughly restored through cleaning and polishing processes All exterior trim surfaces are cleaned and dressed Exhaust tips and other metal surfaces are cleaned and polished Multiple coats of long lasting sealant and carnauba wax are applied to all exterior painted surfaces

Interior:

Interior and trunk are thoroughly vacuumed Floor mats are cleaned and protected with a fabric guard Air vents, cup holders, and other similar areas are dusted, cleaned and dressed All interior trim is dressed and UV protected Leather is cleaned and conditioned through an intense process using Leatherique products and all necessary tools Interior glass is cleaned and wiped down Door jambs are cleaned, polished and waxed

Engine:

Inside of the hood is cleaned with a wash solution and dried with microfiber towels All visible and reachable engine components are sprayed lightly with a cleaner then thoroughly cleaned by hand These components are then either polished or treated with a rubber/vinyl protectant

Wheels:

Wheels are hand washed, cleansed and sealed with appropriate products Wheels are dried with proper microfiber towels Detailing clay is used to remove any imbedded contamination on the wheels inside and out Wheels are polished by hand then sealed Wheel wells and tires are thoroughly cleaned and dressed

Paint Restoration Detail - Recommended as initial paint correction service for all vehicles with paint in fairly poor condition with moderate defects like fading, oxidation, large amount of swirl marks, etc. Time required: 7 or more hours
